CELEBRATIONS BY ALYSIA may only be two years young,
but their team has been delivering stunning events for over
twelve years. They’re renowned for their incredible
attention-to-detail, luxurious design and dedicated personal
service.
“We are there every step of the way for all our gorgeous
couples,” explains Alysia.
It’s this level of specialised individual service that sets
Celebrations by Alysia apart. “I received the most
heart-warming letter from a recent mother-of-thebride,”
reveals Alysia. “She said they would always treasure the
time we spent together and that every single minute and
detail of her daughter’s wedding day just blew them away. She finished
by saying that we would always be part of their family. It was the most beautiful compliment we could have ever received.” Indeed, the compliments are coming hard and fast from all corners for the flourishing stylist and planner, who recently had the opportunity to work with and host global celebrity wedding designer Karen Tran in Brisbane.

“Karen has a wonderful warmth and style and she is so generous in sharing knowledge of her tried and tested designs,” exclaims Alysia. “It was an opportunity to share the magic with my industry friends and collaborators! Karen is an absolute trendsetter in our industry with her luxurious designs and elegant style and it was an absolute privilege and honour to work so closely with her and her beautiful family.”
When it comes to creating exquisitely beautiful, luxurious wedding style, Alysia
is in her element. “The best advice I can offer brides is: take one element that you adore and focus on that. Flowers, for example… a stunning backdrop, an incredible bridal table, and gasp-worthy centrepieces! I’m a big believer in taking what you love, multiplying it en-masse and putting it in the spotlight. No matter what you
choose; if it’s yours, it will be amazing.
Modern Wedding
Drawing inspiration from fresh the natural beauty of Tuscany, stylist Alysia from Celebrations By Alysia creates a bright wedding atmosphere to pop against an Autumn landscape. “We love Tuscany and we really wanted to work with the colour palette of Tangerine, cream and silver green” says Alysia. “The rich terracotta and autumn foliage backdrop provided by The Brides Market was a stunning Tuscan combination for our styled shoot and tablscape.”

Fruits adorn the wedding tablescape and are paired with divine fresh floral arrangements to create an atmosphere that is not only a delight for the eyes, but will also emanate a wonderful citrus aroma at the table. The bride and adorable flower girl match the tuscan inspired wedding reception with their crisp white dresses and luscious flower crowns by Bella Bloom Floral Designs.

Set in a modern-meets-vintage lounge space evoking the golden era of Hollywood, a crystal candelabra stands alongside gold gilded furniture, ruby red florals and stacked books penned by fashion’s elite. An eclectic bouquet of hydrangea, poppies, roses and berries adds colour, texture and romance.

The gown features delicate floral applique, a low back and detachable tulle overlay – a choice inspired by one of Ms. Taylor’s many beautiful costumes. A bold lip, winged eye, glossy waves and striking garnet accessories complete this elegant look.

On the 20th anniversary of the passing of Princess Diana, Paul Burrell was the event’s distinguished guest relaying his experience as the princess’ confidante and butler.

We’re not surprised relaxation is on the cards for this super mum. This time last year El was preparing to leave her son, Darcy, to become a castaway on a Samoan island with 24 other competitors in Australian Survivor. And it seems not much has changed! El and her partner Lee Carseldine have made it home just in time for Mother’s Day from a 10-day survival trek in Vanuatu.
